The Terms and Conditions of Purchasing any item or items from the Rutlandantiques web site are as follows:

Items purchased from this site are antique and consequently character marks can be seen due to the age of the item. Items are purchased as seen on the photographs and as described. Prior to purchase if you have any questions or queries about the item(s) then please contact sales@rutlandantiques.com. You should quote the item code on all correspondence to avoid any misunderstandings.

Whilst we make every endeavor to point out if there is any serious damage, defect, cracks, restoration, worm damage, etc. etc. we cannot cover every eventuality so if you have any questions please contact me via e-mail before purchase.

The carriage costs quoted are by standard Royal Mail Parcel service. Any other service will have to be quoted for prior to purchase. Please e-mail the Centre if any other postal or carriage service is required.

Items marked for "Collection Only" may be collected from the Rutland Antiques Centre any time by prior arrangement. Any other item can always be collected from the centre by prior arrangement. No item can be posted to the purchaser or collected from the centre without the full payment being received by the Rutland Antique Centre.

Items are not sent with any insurance cover other than that provided by the Royal Mail under the terms of their standard insurnace service. The purchaser must arrange their own insurance above and beyond this.

If a purchased item does not substantially conform to the description or any e-mail answers, and the item is returned to the Centre within 14 days of purchase, then the Rutland Antique Centre we will gladly issue a refund of the purchase price, which will exclude any postal or carriage costs.

If you cancel your purchase before delivery a full item cost refund will be issued excluding a 15% administration fee.

Items on this site may also be available for sale at the Rutland Antiques Centre. This could result in an item being sold by the centre prior to the listing being removed from this website. In this event the site  reserves the right to cancel the sale and will issue a full refund of any money paid. An e-mail of explanation will be sent with the electronic refund.
